The Bet Shemesh Educational and Residential Center is pleased announce the naming opportunities available in the newest addition to our award-winning educational facility. The Weston Dormitory, to be completed late 2008, will boast three floors and house 100 additional at-risk boys as they receive the educational and emotional support of the Educational and Residential Center. In addition, the new building will encompass the much-needed 450-person Swig Dining Hall where students and staff will eat three meals per day together.

The following is a sample of the many naming opportunities that are still available. For more information,
please contact Mitch Chupak, mitch@jaffainst.co.il

  • Dormitory Floors, $500,000 each - The new dormitory allows the Center to reach an additional 100 at-risk boys and give them the opportunity to learn in a supportive and nurturing environment.

  • Auditorium, $250,000 - The 100-seat auditorium will be used frequently for both academic and leisure activities.

  • Dormitory Room, $50,000 each - Students of the Bet Shemesh Center often come from depressed, abusive household that greatly inhibited their ability to succeed scholastically. As on-campus residents, the boys receive a safe home and are part of a dependable, family unit that supports them in exploring their true academic and recreational interests.

  • Swig Dining Hall Table, $36,000 each - The much-needed new Swig Dining Hall will accommodate 450 students, staff, and visitors, and allow the entire Bet Shemesh Center community to participate in family-style meals. Each table seats approximately 8 people with a total of 56 tables in the dining hall.

  • Mezuzot, $5,000 each - A beautifully crafted mezuzah is affixed to every doorpost in the Weston Dormitory. This is an ideal opportunity to add your name to one of the ancient symbols of Judaism.
