Naming Opportunities

The Bet Shemesh Educational Center is pleased to announce the naming opportunities available in its brand new Weston Dormitory. The Weston Dormitory that recently opened in 2010, boasts three floors and can house 100 additional at-risk boys. In addition, the new building will encompass the much-needed 450-person dining hall where students and staff will eat breakfast, lunch and dinner together every day.

The following is a sample of the many naming opportunities that are available. For more information, please contact our Director of Development Mitch Chupak at: mitch@jaffainst.co.il

  • Dormitory Floors, $500,000 each - The new dormitory allows the Center to reach an additional 100 at-risk boys and give them the opportunity to learn in a supportive and nurturing environment.

  • Library, $350,000 - Bet Shemesh students learn a love for books. We have a space but it needs to be filled with vibrant books and be refurbished to create a warm and welcoming environment.

  • Study Hall, $250,000 - This new study hall will have 150 seats and a computer room so that the boys have an additional quiet space for their studies.

  • Dormitory Room, $50,000 each - Students of BSEC often come from depressed, abusive household that greatly inhibited their ability to succeed socially and academically. As on-campus residents, the boys receive a safe home and are part of a dependable, family unit that supports them in exploring their true academic and recreational interests.

  • Dining Hall Tables, $36,000 each - The much-needed new dining hall will accommodate 450 students, staff, and visitors, and allow the entire Bet Shemesh community to participate in family-style meals. Each table seats approximately 8 people and there will be a total of 56 tables in the dining hall.

  • Mezuzot, $5,000 each - A beautifully crafted mezuzah is affixed to every doorpost in the Weston Dormitory. This is an ideal opportunity to add your name to one of these ancient symbols of Judaism.
